Assignment 14

     This class has really helped me to develop my style and voice in film.  It’s made me realize what I want to create and show as a filmmaker. Also, I’ve come to realize that I am very good at producing. I am very good at organizing, making things come together, and planning.  I am all about some planning, so much, that it might become overkill at sometimes.  Another thing that this class has shown me is that I definitely have clear and concise visions about what I want in a film and what I don’t.  I’ve realized that I am kind of a perfectionist when it comes to films.  I focus on tiny details and think that this is what makes films stand out from the rest…which is where planning comes in and kicks ass.  Another thing that this class has been of help to, is showing me what type of people I want to work with in the future and how great it can be to have a group of people just as motivated to be filmmakers as me to work with.  With filmmaking in general, it is definitely a team effort.  I knew this coming into the class, but it definitely hit home after a couple projects.  I learned a lot from people in the class that are better at certain aspects of film than I am.  This class was a fabulous way to start my career and journey through becoming a filmmaker.
